Get Dem Big with Inner Armour Muscle Peak

What's up people!
I bring you another protein supplement review. Today I have for you hailing from Inner Armour!!

Inner Armour Muscle Peak

Inner Armour dubbed itself as the Most powerful supplements in the world.  And I have not much to argue there because some of their stuff is really potent. Like their Hard Mass. That shit is crazy. Anyway, since nobody has done a review on this product, so I thought I'd give it a go after finishing a tub of this stuff.

Product: Inner Armour Muscle-Peak

Type : Whey Protein

General overview:

Check it:
Recommended serving size: 2 scoops (44g per scoop).
Per serving you'll get 50g of protein, 390 cal, 34g of carbs and 6g of fats
In this Human Growth Factor Nitro Index (HGFI) Blend you have you BCAAs (Laucune, Isoleucine and Valine), Creatine Monohydrate, WPC, WPI and some MCTs. These are the good stuff you'll be getting from this product. Doesn't say how much they have all these stuff in there.
This product also includes an Enzyme called Amino-Peak Amino Acid Spiking Polypeptide Comples which basically contains peptidase. This is to break the protein faster and makes absorption faster.

Instructions:2 scoops (88g) in COLD water or milk or any beverage of your choice and chug it down.
*Personally I go with 1 scoop in the morning, post workout and before bed. Remember to get your protein from other sources and do not depend solely on supplements*

Personal comment:

I like this product mainly because it's cheap and it delivers good amounts of protein per scoop. It's one of the cheapest protein supplement out there, at RM 145.00 and it has good stuff in there as stated. However, there are somethings that I don't quite like. Their  HGFI Blend, they say that it has all of those ingredients but they didn't state how much. I would like to know if I'm taking in 5g of creatine monohydrate or BCAAs etc. I would prefer a more specific macros. For me, creatine is very important and I want to make sure that I'm getting my daily dosage of creatine or BCAAs; thus I look for supplements that gives me everything in one tub. I'm a tracks and  field athlete and a power lifter. I don't have it in my budget to buy a separate tub of BCAAs because this shit is expensive.

Taste, mix-ability and texture :

First of the taste, I had chocolate and the taste was not that good. In fact I prefer Mutant Whey's taste better. It's like your standard chocolate protein powder but the great tasting ones. Warning: Drink this only with cold water or cold milk. If you mix it in room temperature water, it doesn't taste very good and the after taste is quite unpleasant.
Texture wise it's like your hot-chocolate or Milo. Mix-ability is great. Put it in water and shake it hard and good and you're set.

The scoop is smaller then I expected because it says 44g.

Where can you get it? : you can get it at Whypaymorenutritions and musclemaniaclub. Whypaymorenutritions sells it cheaper at RM140.00 while musclemaniaclub sells it at RM148.00. Unfortunately both of these online stores are sold out.

Aside form the taste, this is really a good product and I would actually go back to this product after I finish my Ronnie Coleman Pro-Antium. I like this product.

Get Dem Big with Ronnie Coleman Signature Series Resurrect-PM

What's up people! Another supplement review today.  Another Ronnie Coleman Signature Series product. This time I bring you the RCSS Resurrect-PM Ultra- Concentrated Sleep and Recovery Formula.

Product: RCSS Resurrect-PM

Type :Sleep and recovery formula

General overview:

 Check it :
1 scoop= 8grams give you 4cal, 0g sugar, 0g fat and only 1g of carb(too little to make any significant changes to your body, you're good)

1scoop gives you Zinc, Magnesium and B6= ZMA, so you can save money by not buying a separate ZMA blend if you already are. The dosage in this bad boy is sufficient.

This stuff is made up of two main matrices/proprietary blend which is R.E.M. (Rapid Eye Movement) Mass and  Growth Hormone Optimizers and the other matrix is LMT(Lean Muscle Tissue) Recovery Matrix.

The R.E.M.  Mass and  Growth Hormone Optimizers contains pretty standard ingredients. Design to relax your body and it's typical in most sleeping aid formula. L-arginine also promotes growth hormone just so you know.
The LMT Recovery Matrix which has creatine gluconate which is basically creatine bonded with glucose molecule and the other ingredient is the infamous Hica. increases the synthesis of protein
It's not a cheap ingredient. So Ronnie Coleman is not playing games when he says you'll be building some muscles when you're sleeping.

Instructions:
1scoop(8grams) in water, shake it up and chug it down. Do this 30 minutes before bed and on an empty stomach.
Suggest usage is 5 days on and 2 days off meaning the 5 days should be your workout days. What I do is take it 4 days and 3 days off. to stretch the supplement because I'm broke. I usually take it from Monday, Wednesday and Friday and the other 4 days off. Why? Because those are my workout days.
Personal comment:

I actually like this stuff. Initially, I thought it would be bull and I shouldn't have wasted my money on this thing. For the first few trials of this product, I didn't feel a thing. I don't go to sleep any easier nor do I get the best sleep. So I thought this was a flop.

After using this stuff for about 3 weeks now, I actually feel the effects of the product after taking it for about a week and a half. I find that I do sleep better and I have more energy in the gym becasue of that sleep. However I also find that waking up is harder. This stuff knocks me out and I get up feeling super groggy but it gets better. So this stuff is really cool in my books

my bummed out fingers are seen.

As you can see in the photo, the tub looks half empty, right? Wrong, the tub is actually three quarters empty. When I opened this stuff at first I was excited because I got a free Myo-Blitz sample, Yayyy!! But then I looked at the bottom, it's only a quarter filled. I was like, shit, bums me out man. I know that all supplements are packed by its weight not the container size. But as a buyer when you see three quarters of an empty tub you'll be bummed out.

Taste, mix-ability and texture :

Let's start with the taste. First off, the Blue Razz Dream, I wasn't dreaming after drinking this. The taste of Blue Razz Dream is kinda horrible, not as good as expected. The sensacool tech did not help make it taste better. Lucky for me I had the Blue Razz Dream as my sample packet. The Midnight Grape however, is pretty good. At first it tastes kinda funky, but you'll get used to it. You'll be surprised that you'll come to like it. So, I really like the Midnight Grape, I recommend that flavour.

Blue liquid with a little bit of foam on top. Both flavours are blue.

Mix ability won't be that much of an issue because, it mixes quite well. you'll see some granules sink to the bottom, those are probably the creatine gluconate. Texture wise; flavoured water.

8 grams scoop size

[Scoop Size]:

Where can you get it? : You can get this product at Musclemaniaclub.com and fitlion.com
Musclemaniaclub is selling it at RM116.00 while Fitlion is selling it at Rm120.00. Musclemania club is cheaper but Fitlion has a great bundle pack.

I'd say that this is a fantastic product and quite worth your investment. SO   Get Dem Big with Ronnie Coleman Signature Series Resurrect-PM

Dom

Get Dem Big with Universal Nutrition Creatine

What's up people!! We have a supplement review for you and today we're bringing Universal Nutrition's Creatine

Product: Universal Nutrition's Creatine

Ratings: 10/10

Type :Creatine

General overview: Check out the nutritional facts here

There's 200 servings per container. This is a simple supplement. all you need to know is that this product contains only creatine monohydrate and this has the Creapure label on it. You know it's good product if it's one of those German shit.

Instructions:
5 grams in a beverage of your choice, shake it up and chug it down. Do not exceed the recommended serving size of 5g per day.

Personal comment:
Creatine Monohydrate is the purest form of creatine out there. It's the must studied supplement out there. You can check it out in my previous blog post here.

I like this product because it's cheap and it does increase my energy. I find that i can hit an extra 2 reps to the point of failure and I also noticed that my muscles are fuller. The weights on my lifts also increased at a slightly faster rate compared to when I was not on creatine. I like this stuff. On my off days I use it in the morning while on my training days I use it post workout. The best part I'm paying a reasonable price for a good product.

Taste, mix-ability and texture :
This product is unflavored and honestly you dont have to get the flavored ones which cost way more. I'm living on a tight budget and I dont' want to spend more on the flavored ones. This stuff does not dissolve easily. You have to shake it like it's your bitch. It may get a bit gritty.

*you can get a measuring spoon at your local super market. Get the cheap ones, no need to be too fancy. Measurement are the same everywhere.

Where can you get it?
I got this at Musclemania Club for RM70.00 for 500g and I think it is a good price. Some brands has it at RM70.00 for only 300g.

Sincerely,
Dom

Get Dem Big with Creatine

What's up good people!! We are back and this time we're here to review another supplement: Creatine

I bet y'all have heard a lot about creatine and its effect, side effect and all that jazz. Here's the deal, we're gonna breakdown the facts of creatine to its bare essentials. We're also putting links which we think have good explanations regarding this creatine topics.

Creatine is THE most studied supplement and it being the most studied it has a lot of information out there, so much so that you might get confused
.
Fact:
1. Creatine reduces fatigue by transporting extra energy into your cells. Energy in the body are ATP(Adenosine triphosphate) and for muscle contraction it breaks off phosphate molecule; thus ATP=>ADP (Adenosine diphosphate). Creatine lends a phosphate molecule to the ADP thus forming ATP. In simpler terms, it is energy recycling.
2. Creatine pulls water molecule into muscles: thus making muscles look fuller and bigger.
3. Taking creatine may cause a slight dehydration. Drink more water if you're on creatine.
4. Creatine does give you additional energy but you won't feel it right away nor would be like a surge of energy through your body.
5. Creatine may take up to 4 hours to breakdown and for it to work. You might not even feel it work
6. It takes 2 weeks to get your muscles saturated. (Dosage of 5grams/1 teaspoon per day)

Health precautions.
Please consult your doctor or get yourself checked out before using creatine. If you don't have any kidney, liver or any health problems for that matter creatine is safe to use. Just dont exceed the recommended dosage perday. Read the instructions on the tub.

Here's our take on creatine. we are on creatine for about 7 months and we do feel that it is benefiting us in our training. We just take it with our protein powder in the morning. We'll do a review on our current creatine supplement. We do feel that we have more energy and power in our lifts. Our deadlift and power clean weights has increased at a higher rate compared to when we were training without creatine. I don't know whether the creatine gave us a mental edge or really gave us the physical edge. I can conclude that creatine does not give you a surge of energy like sugar does but it is more on the energy or power within the muscle and you can feel that you have more strength

Here are some links that we think are interesting and a good read on Creatine.
